Welcome to the Oak Hill Drive church of Christ web site. We are a friendly group of people that seek to follow God's will for us. We believe that head of the church is Jesus Christ and therefore do not have a centralized organization or belong to a denomination. We seek to be "Christians Only" without creeds or other man made rules.

Who We Are

Our church leadership is made up of men who seek to serve the Lord by leading the congregation in every possible facet of worship and praise.  Our church has no oversight body, and exists as an autonomous unit that is self-governing.  Our leadership is comprised of elders, deacons, and ministers.  They all work dutifully, tending to the flock our Lord's Church.

What you can expect:

  • Acapella singing.
  • Prayer led by men of the congregation.
  • The Lord's Supper, will be offered to all Christians in memory of the death and resurection of Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
  • An offering is taken that is used to support the Lord's work in Escondido.
  • A sermon is preached by our preaching minister. Sermons are biblically based and are easily understood by all.
  • A children worship service is held concurrently with the sermon and is tailored to the understanding and attention span of young children.

    What to wear?

  • We do not have a dress code. Simpily said the normal attire is California casual.
